6th Tirana Gas Pipelines Safety Workshop
“Oil & Gas Sector showing the way: Safety culture, a key to success”
The Workshop will be held at:
MAK Albania Hotel on April 3rd, 2020 starting at 09:30 hrs.
The Tirana Gas Pipelines Safety Workshop is under the auspices of the
Ministry of Infrastructure & Energy.
It was launched in October 2015 and since then five workshops have been successfully completed.
Safety is of paramount importance and priority in Gas Sector, globally. The gasification of Albania apart from the significant
contribution to the Albanian economy also provides the opportunity to improve safety in business and the society at large adapting world-class good practice.
In this framework, the initiative has been undertaken by the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of
Greece in Albania, in cooperation with MANAGEMENT FORCE Group, a specialized Safety Consultant with a long and deep
experience in safety in the Oil & Gas Sector and other Sectors, with projects already completed in 23 countries around the globe.
This initiative is a Safety Capacity Building Programme that provides an open forum for safety in public and private sector, at institutional or business level and the society at large.
The 6th Workshop will be the last on the curve of transformation from a workshop to a conference event, opening the discussion about safety in all businesses and the society overall.
Distinguished speakers from Albania and abroad (Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria) offer an opportunity for safety improvements Organisations to participate, including the Albanian Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure,
TAP, AGSco, Labour Inspectorate, MFG, HELLENIC PETROLEUM (tbc).
